Barolo Riserva DOCG

VarietyNebbiolo

Production AreaPiedmont Region - District of Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d' Alba, La Morra

SoilGenerally fertile, calcareous marl, iron, and limestone

Tasting notesWhen it is aged for a full five years, the Barolo DOCG becomes a 'Riserva' and further demonstrates the aging potential of a great Nebbiolo. Its tannins are mellowed out and its bouquet becomes more ethereal and complex.

PairingThe finish is alluring and elegant and suggests pairing with sophisticated game dishes and savory aged cheeses. To enjoy this Barolo at its best, uncork at least two to three hours before serving.
